POLITICO – How Washington Works – Earmarks Animation
This was another joint project I created together with political cartoonist Matt Weurker for POLITICO. This was a take on the political cartoons that are regularly produced for POLITICO but instead of being a static image this was made as an animation which was hand drawn and water color painted by Matt Weurker and then I digitized it, animated it using Adobe Flash, published it, and made it ready for the web using XHTML.

My Task
Task
I worked together with political cartoonist Matt Weurker and took his hand drawn and water color painted images and idea for the political cartoon and then digitized the images and cut them into segments which I then animated in Adobe Flash and then published as a web animation that ran on POLITICO in ad spaces for the regular articles as something for the online readers to click on and experience a poltical cartoon as an animation instead of just as a static image. We produced many of these kinds of political animations and received a lot of positive feedback.
