My Task
Task
I was provided images of various microscopic slides and the given the task of creating an authentic microscope simulation that would include zoom functionality as well as being able to move the microscopic slide under the microscope just as a real microscope would function this would be part of a lesson that students would have to learn how to use a microscope and identify various different types of material under a microscope. I was also given the task of creating a simulation of baking cookies based on ingredients used and have the result output to let students use mathematical reasoning in order to determine how many ingredients it would take in order to bake a certain amount of cookies. I created both of these simulations using cutting edge at the time Adobe Flash and Actionscript / Javascript programming techniques along with graphic design to create and arrange the various elements composing both simulations.
