Task

I was given the challenge of creating engaging Presidential Candidate Profiles for POLITICO for the 2008 Presidential Election Season that showcased all of the Candidates that were running on both Republican and Democratic sides. I created all aspects of the profiles including the graphic design, coding, styling, concept, and selected the pictures used for each candidate except for the copy used in the descriptions. To achieve this I created Flash animated buttons utilizing some of the latest cutting edge techniques at the time that I embedded simultaneously with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a UI / UX interface that I also created in order to show a multitude of images for each candidate via a rotating animated top image bar that when clicked opens into a pop up image as well as animated buttons linking to all of the candidate social media pages, websites, and to all of the other candidates in the respective political party for each candidate as well as animated buttons linking to the other political party or back to the overall candidate homepage being always available for the user to navigate to.
