FAA – Air Traffic Controller Staffing / A Plan for the Future Video
While working in the New Media Department as a Multimedia Designer & Developer at the Federal Aviation Administration headquarters in Washington, D.C. I created this promotional video to highlight the FAA’s initiative and plan to hire more Air Traffic Controllers. This video ran on the homepage of faa.gov and received positive feedback from the United States Secretary of Transportation.

My Task
Task
As the Multimedia Designer / Developer in the FAA’s New Media Department I was tasked with creating a promotional video to highlight the FAA’s initiative plan to increase the Air Traffic Controller workforce. I created the video using B-roll from the FAA’s archives along with stock audio as well as combining it with 3D modeling renders and animation. I also worked with a Senior editor to come up with the text or message that was being disseminated. I did the video and audio editing using Adobe Premeire Pro & After Effects along with using 3D Studio Max to do the 3D modeling and animation.
